Watermelon Lemonade Sorbet

Instructions

  1. Working in batches, pulse watermelon in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Strain pureed watermelon through a sieve into a 4- cup measuring cup; discard solids. Measure 3 cups watermelon juice into a large bowl.
  3. Pour cold water into a small saucepan; sprinkle gelatin over the surface. Let stand 1 minute.
  4. Cook over low heat, stirring, until gelatin dissolves, about 2 minutes.
  5. Add gelatin mixture to watermelon juice. Stir in lemon juice, lime juice, and Splenda Sweetener, stirring until sweetener dissolves.
  6. Pour sorbet mixture into freezer container of an ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Transfer sorbet to a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze 1 hour or until firm.
