Creamy Rice Custard

 

Serves 10 

 

Ingredients

 
750mL reduced fat milk
2 tsp Vanilla essence  
3/4 cup SPLENDA® Granular
1 pinch of ground nutmeg
3 cups white rice

 

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

 

  1. Place all ingredients in a non-stick saucepan
  2. Bring to the boil, then gently simmer for 20 minutes or until most of the milk has been absorbed
  3. Place in serving dish and sprinkle with nutmeg
  4. Allow to cool and refrigerate until required.
