Cinnamon Rice Pudding

Cinnamon Rice Pudding

 

Serves 6

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
1 ½ cups water
1 cup (180g) long-grain rice
1 litre low-fat milk
2 tablespoons SPLENDA® Granular
lemon zest
1 cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder

Method:

  1. Bring rice to boil for 3 minutes. Drain.
  2. Pour milk into a large saucepan. Bring to boil. Add rice and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. Add SPLENDA® Granular, lemon zest and cinnamon stick. Cook for another 5 minutes or until most of the milk is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and cool. Discard cinnamon stick.
  5. Pour into six transparent glasses.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and serve.
