Cinnamon Rice Pudding
Serves 6
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 ½ cups water
1 cup (180g) long-grain rice
1 litre low-fat milk
2 tablespoons SPLENDA® Granular
lemon zest
1 cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
Method:
- Bring rice to boil for 3 minutes. Drain.
- Pour milk into a large saucepan. Bring to boil. Add rice and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Add SPLENDA® Granular, lemon zest and cinnamon stick. Cook for another 5 minutes or until most of the milk is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and cool. Discard cinnamon stick.
- Pour into six transparent glasses.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and serve.
